North Bucks Way

North Bucks Way

The North Bucks Way was set up by the Ramblers Association in 1972. It’s 35 miles long and runs the whole length of Buckinghamshire, part of which, runs through Fairfields and Whitehouse.

From Kiln Farm, the North Bucks Way cuts south through Fairfields and Whitehouse to Whaddon. It passes through some picturesque villages and offers distant views of historic houses such as Waddesdon Manor and Whaddon Hall.

  • The Parks Trust has produced a 2.5-mile self-guided walk of Shenley Wood and North Bucks Way, provided here as a downloadable PDF.
  • The full 35-mile walk is available as a PDF on the Buckinghamshire Council website.

Bridal Ways

The section of North Bucks Way around Fairfields and Whitehouse is a bridle route. You will see horse riders using the pathways and are allowed to ride horses along the route.
